The MacLellan reeds are manufactured using the most exacting standards employed anywhere.

Before selection, each piece of premium French cane is hand selected and tested - any cane which does not meet minimum standards of colour and hardness is immediately rejected. Staples are made from folded copper and are airtight in construction and flawlessly symmetrical. These reeds are available in weak, medium or strong and this can be specified when ordering online.

They also are available in senior strength which are exceptionally well balanced up the scale and are ideal for the older enthusiast.
